National Nutrition week (15th to 19th October) is celebrated every year to raise awareness of the role of food, on our health and supports the community to enjoy healthy eating. During this week, we had a visit from Gabbi from the Munch and Move programme, who came to visit and had a group discussion with the children about what foods and drinks are good for us and what aren’t so good for us. During her visit, she played educational games with the children and also asked them lots of questions in regard to Munch and Moves’ key messages, which the children had a very good understanding of.
